Víctor Barragán Castillo, a graduate of the 2020-2022 Executive MBA program at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Altán Redes, a leading telecommunications infrastructure development company in Mexico.
With over two decades of experience in the sector, Víctor has built a distinguished career at key companies such as Tech Consulting Staff, where he served as IT Associate Vice-President, and AT&T Mexico, where he led network operations as NOC Manager. He also played a crucial role at Iusacell, further solidifying his expertise in network management and strategic operations.
His educational background in telecommunications engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) and his specialization in the Executive MBA at ITAM, known for its focus on innovation and business leadership, provide him with a comprehensive and strategic perspective to tackle the challenges of his new position at Altán Redes.
Among his key skills are strategic management, program development, team leadership, business process management, and continuous improvement. These competencies, supported by high-level certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Lead Auditor ISO 9001, position him as a leader capable of driving operational transformation at Altán Redes in a highly competitive and constantly evolving environment.
