ACCREDITATIONS
As a result of its strong commitment to excellence and innovation in business education, ITAM is part of a select global group of institutions that hold the "Triple Crown", that is the three most prestigious international accreditations for business schools.

In 1998, ITAM was the first school in Latin America to gain recognition by the AACSB International for its global standards of excellence in business education, which emphasizes the quality of its faculty and the dissemination of knowledge. The AACSB International was founded in the United States by a group of renowned business schools at universities such as Columbia University, Harvard University, New York University, Northwestern University, University of Pennsylvania and Yale University. Currently, the AACSB accreditation has extended to nearly 50 countries. However, only 5% of the business schools in the world have been able to obtain this important certification.
In 2009, ITAM was accredited by EQUIS, a distinction that is given to institutions noted for their high level of internationalization and interaction with the business world. EQUIS was created with the support of the best European business schools, such as HEC Paris, IE Business School, IESE, IMD, INSEAD and London Business School. Today, EQUIS has accredited nearly 150 institutions in 40 countries.
In 2005, ITAM's MBAs were the first MBA programs in Mexico to be accredited by this distinguished London-based organization. AMBA accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement in teaching and content, and in student profiles. Furthermore, AMBA is the only international professional network that connects MBA students and graduates, business schools and employers in more than 50 countries. Today, AMBA certifies about 250 business schools worldwide. ITAM was the 100th school to receive this prestigious accreditation.
Since 1998, ITAM is a member of PIM, an international association of more than 60 business schools recognized for having the highest degree of academic excellence, both regionally and globally, and dedicated to the exchange of MBA students.
